A few Recommendations

I'd like to start this off with a really short story I only recently found, "Paper Orchids."

It's a very short and sweet little piece about Sora and her mother; it's plot revolves around Ikebana - the Japanese art of flower arrangement, which Sora's mother is known for. So far I'm the only reviewer, and so I've decided to bring this story some attention and hopefully that will change!

The author also has a few other Digimon fics, so if you've enjoyed "Paper Orchids," I'd also recommend reading "Traumerei." Despite the fact that Tailmon and Wizarmon are listed as the main characters, the story focuses quite a bit on Taichi as well, and it focuses on him in a way that I highly enjoyed.

The next story I want to bring forth to attention is "All Seems Beautiful."

I firmly believe that this story is not getting the proper attention it deserves. I've left several encouraging reviews to the writer, but I'm positive she could use a few more. It's difficult to describe this story without revealing a ton of spoilers, but let's just say that it starts off with quite the bang.

Taichi is clearly the main character, and for the first arc nearly everything revolves around him. It nicely introduces what I termed a "friendship hierarchy" between Koushiro, Taichi, and Yamato. Taichi and Yamato are best friends, but Koushiro is also one of Taichi's best friend's as well, so there's a little spark of jealousy flying around there that Taichi doesn't quite see Koushiro as good of a friend as he does Yamato.

Daisuke, Yamato, and Takeru are focused on quite a bit as well. Daisuke's character flaws are clearly shown in regards to Taichi's troubles; Yamato is unhappy in the direction his life and career are heading in; and Takeru finds himself alone at a basketball training camp without the other Chosen and mingles with a few very interesting OC's.

It's a very wonderful and fascinating story that everyone should really get the chance to read and review to encourage the next chapter to be written ASAP. =)

I read "Paper Orchids" straight away, and it was beautiful. Left me feeling quite "deep"....

As for the second one, I've bookmarked it so I can read it tomorrow.

Paper Orchids was epic. In a tiny way.

I actually read All Seems Beautiful. It IS a good fic. It's kinda the type where you have to want to read it, but once you do it's amazing! But Benign had it right when he said there isn't much you could say without dropping a spoiler or two.

Still I'm right there with him when I say, YOU SHOULD REALLY READ IT!

Love in a Mist (author behind Paper Orchids) is also a wonderful writer, so don't overlook her stories! We bug the above two writers with enough reviews, and we might even end up welcoming two new members to the forum here. ;p

I read, and I'm almost sure I reviewed Beloved (something) by Love in a Mist. It was the one with Kou and his mom.

I haven't gotten around to Paper Orchids yet, but I will, after New Neighbours!

I'm gonna bookmark these two fics and I'll get down to them once I have enough time!
