Agreed. Its just way too impossible for that to happen. Either that or the child would die young. The genetic makeup would probably kill the poor child, he/she'd be born half-developed thanks to Nessie's sped-up growth.

We'd have to hope for the sakes of humanity and logic that she can't.

However, seeing as she's the ultimate super-special Mary Sue, well, don't get your hopes up on that.

Same here. Every time I hear her being called Nessie I think of a lake monster or the roller coaster in Busch Gardens. (I loved that ride, btw. Lol for ot-ness)

To be precise, I imagine a little baby monster (not even a metre high.) It has slimy skin of a purple-like colour. She has rows of blindingly white sharp teeth draped in drool, which tends to drip onto the floor. Her eyes are huge and sparkly, she also has sparkly little horns.
As for her body: it's a kind of shapeless mass hidden beneath a horrid dress with only her head and flippers sticking out. Though if you look closely, you can also see her tail.

Yes, I know that's not even close to the book description, but that's how she looks in my head

I didn't properly read Breaking Dawn, just skimmed and laughed and the crazy bits, but wasn't there something about Nessie choosing her own name?

No. Bella chose her name because is was a combination of Rene's and Esme's names.

I repeat. Bella should never be allowed to name anything ever again. Neither should Jacob.
