| Mm... I can kinda imagine that. Hot guys mud-wrestling. Is it wrong to think that seeing two cute guys fight would be totally freaking awesome? (If they weren't cute, then that would be a no-go, but if they're cute... well...)
Excuse me for a moment while I rant about the awesomeness of Harry Potter over Twilight:
A) Rob Pattinson was actually GOOD in HP (unlike in Twilight)
B) Hot wizards named Malfoy totally kick Edward's sissy ass.
C) Actual plot (I think I've been over this before, no...?)
D) REALISTIC characters in every-day situations (aside from the fact that they're wizards)
and lastly
E) The Vampires in the Potterverse are *actual vampires*. Not Myerpires (I like that phrase, it makes sence to me...). They are VAMPIRES that DRINK BLOOD of HUMANS and DON'T FREAKING SPARKLE. Instead, they BURN in sunlight, like all good vamps.
And so I rest my case. There are a lot more reasons, but I really don't have the energy to type any more. Legit.

| I see I've convinced another on the subject of mud-wrestling. We keep this up and it'll totally end up official I very much agree with your points, especially C. Oh yes, C! I'll just pick up on point D. In Twilight, anything realistic is lacking, very seriously lacking. Many people pass this off by saying, "it doesn't matter, it's fiction! Of course it's not realistic." The thing is, saying that something isn't realistic simply because it's fiction is, well, in a word, wrong. Realism is a literary movement (19th century) in which reality as we know it is as closely respected as possible. This, however, has nothing to do with a novel being realistic. (Of course realsim is going to be realistic, but you know.) Vampires and wizards aren't real (Duh!) but this doesn't mean they can't be portrayed in a realistic way. If I'm reading about them, I want the author to make me believe they could be real. Characters need to be realistic, in their emotions, reactions etc. Otherwise there isn't much point to them. So just because something isn't copy-pasted from something you could find in reality, doesn't mean it isn't realistic. Does that make sense? Oh, and continuing point A: in Harry Potter, the guy had clean hair! | |

| Very true. I can't believe the moron stopped washing his hair for, what was it... THREE MONTHS or something? That's just... RETARDED!! *pardon my French... and pardon that last statement, if you're offended by it* | |

| Three months? I didn't think it was that long I heard he stopped washing too? I remember watching an interview where he had the hugest pit stains... | |

| Well, I really don't remember how long it was. But it was a while.
and I KNOW! Wasn't that just the grossest thing? He didn't bathe, he didn't comb his hair (or, at least, that's how *I* thought it looked...), it was just... Ew. For lack of better terms.

| I heard it was because he wanted to get out of the whole thing. Don't know if it's true though. He apparently had no idea of what he was getting into when he signed the contract and wants out.
I don't blame him (for wanting out, not for not washing) he got hit by a cab because of his fangirls a while back. He wasn't severly hit -the cab wasn't really moving- but it was still a harsh bump into his hip.

| Oh, sorry.
Rob Pattinson stopped bathing after Twilight was done filming. It lasted at LEAST a couple months, the GROSSEST thing I've EVER heard of... *shudders*
I didn't hear about that last part. But I can understand why, too, so I don't blame him for wanting out. Just... he should have found a cleaner way to do so. XD

| This is the first I'd heard of it... but that's just freaking gross. The last of my respect for Rob that lingered from his role as Cedric just went up in flames. If you want out, just say so. Don't make us smell you from a mile away. | |

| Yeah. He freaking sparkles. Edward sparkles. Click here (You'll have to ignore the girl talking in the beginning but it's the highest quality I could find) Like BandGeek said earlier, real vampires don't sparkle. | |

He's a shame to all the wonderful vampires we all love to hate, like Vamdemon. I'm making sure Alex doesn't see this thread ever. She hasn't read the book but if she ever finds out about this....

It would be so much better if he at least had a pretty face like he's supposed to.

| Wow, pretty much took the words right out of my mouth.
I was reading somewhere that the make-up department for Twilight had to paint the abs on him for the sparkling scene because he was ferociously lacking in that department.

| At the risk of being yelled at, I like Robert Pattinson.
He has a good sense of humor, especially on the DVD commentary...
I hated the way they did the sparkaling in the movie...

Robert Pattinson is NO Edward Cullen.

| I don't hate the guy -In fact, I applaud him for his Twilight bashing- but I don't love him either. I don't find him ugly, though I find him hot either. I guess he falls into the "OK" category for me. Edward Cullen, on the other hand, I hate | |

| No. It was kind of sad in the movie when Edward Cullen was not the hottest vampire in the movie. That was James, Emmett, and Jasper to me. (I love Jackson Rathborne and Kellen Lutz (sp?). I just slaughtered the last name of the actor who plays Emmett Edward wasn't my favorite vampire in the books so I wasn't that upset. (As you can see my favorite vampire guys were Jasper and Emmett though more Emmett than Jasper.) | |
