I have three questions about Digimon

Hi,

I hope I'm in the right community.
I have three questions about Digimon.

1. In some anime shows (e.g. Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece, etc), there are scenes where they fight (Digidestined, "Chosen Kids"), someone have to pee or someone gets hit into the nuts and thats in the form of funny or strange. Such scenes I haven't seen in Digimon (except with Tai and Matt^^).
Is there such scenes in Digimon and have you ever seen such (maybe in an Digimon Movie? If possible with episode number, please)?

2. Digimon Tamers: I read, that Henry Wong has previously often thrashed with somebody (often has someone beaten). Is that so? If so, do you know the name of the episode?

3. Digimon Frontier: Takuya Kanbara is in Digimon Frontier the leader of the group (he is always so fast irritable, like Tai and Matt^^). Has he a fight with someone (like Tai and Matt^^)? Did you know a episode?

2 & 3. We're an Adventure 01-02 forum only, sorry. ^.^

First of all, welcome!

The only thing I can think of that's related to what you're asking in your first question is Agumon sitting on a toilet in episode 8 of Adventure 01*.
Which is a shame, because despite being an immature form of humour, it's excellent

*Also the only episode -I think- with any form of nudity, though that's cut out in the dub.

Although this is an 01-02 forum only, I feel I cannot leave your questions unanswered.

#3. I have no idea, haven't watched the whole thing yet.

#4. I can't point out an episode right now, but check THIS ep guide for s4 if you want to look for it. He does have a Taichi-Yamato relationship with one of his comrades, namely Kouji Minamoto.

IF you wanna talk about s3-s5 stuff, I suggest going to.... wait, I think I'm crossing the line here.

I so totally deserve Miss Spiral's divine judgment for this but I hope it helps.

I think I'll agree with everyone else, I don't remember any damage to the family jewels moments! Digimon was based more for children. (And yet here I am, years later... still obsessed. lol)

I won't even acknowledge the other seasons because one, yeah it's not what we do here, and two, I never found them worth my time!

But now, I have a question about Digimon Adventure 01.
I have read that Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi in the same soccer team with Sora Takenouchi and Taichi Yagami is. Is that so and comes it in a episode before (please with Number)?

Wow! I had no idea. Izzy played soccer?? Where did you read that from?

I've heard that Koushiro was on Sora and Taichi's soccer team, but I'm not sure which episode I heard it from. Maybe look it up on wikipedia...?

Neither did I.

Koushiro was in the school's soccer club with Taichi and Sora (this might extend to with Hikari and Daisuke, too). Clubs have regular tryouts during the school season to determine the members that will be playing for the school's soccer team. So technically you can be a club member but not be a team member.

This bit about him was mentioned in his extended character sheet profile by Digimon writer/translater Meg-chan on her Digimon Sekai website.

In 02, however, it's mentioned that Koushiro was in the computer club. It's possible he was in two clubs, and it's also possible that the writing staff's decision in having him be part of the soccer club has been retconned (kinda unlikely since he and Taichi showed a pretty strong friendship during the entire first season). Either way, the likeliest solution is simply that after his experiences in the Digital World Koushiro decided to pursue his own interests over the interests of his friends, and left the soccer club for the computer club. I say this because while Daisuke remembers Taichi from the soccer club, he knows next to nothing about Koushiro or Sora, who were both in the soccer club along with Taichi. So you can assume that Sora left for the tennis club and Koushiro left for the computer club before Daisuke decided to join the soccer club.

An interesting tidbit is that even Daisuke wasn't a regular member of the soccer team. This means he doesn't play in every match the school has and that his game against Ken was probably one of the only ones he played on the field. He only becomes a regular in the 6th grade (he tries to brag about it on one of the Drama-CD's, but becomes saddened when he reminds himself that Taichi became a regular team member by the 5th grade).

So yeah, sporting clubs have tough competition. So just because there's a chance Koushiro wasn't a regular member, this doesn't also mean he was a bad player (Daisuke being the perfect example of this).

Life never was fair to Daisuke, huh?

No, not really. But he was always portrayed as the guy who stays proudly optimistic even when stuff is crumbling around him.

Aww, poor Daisuke! I feel so bad for him. But that's just how life works, I guess. At least he makes it to regular - there are a lot of kids that don't make the cut.
