| Innit obvious? Last chapter of the manga - That girl following Kouta calls him "dad" and she calls the two twins "Kaede" (Lucy's real name) and the twins say they're looking for a special friend...I would guess one twin is Lucy and one is Nyuu.
I'm wondering about Nana; that purple-haired wonder is my favorite out of all of the diclonii. Although I kinda feel weird about her falling in love with her father-figure. But that last line of hers was hilarious: "You want to make babies with Nana?!?!"

| Ah...I just Wikipedia-d Elfen Lied. I assumed the anime was like the manga (haven't seen the anime yet)...wow, it's not as bad as Full Moon wo Sagashite's divergence was but still...
Differences: *spoiler alert*
Anime: When it is revealed Lucy killed Kanae, Kouta is very forgiving of her. Manga: When it is revealed Lucy killed Kanae, Kouta becomes vengeful and only tolerates the fact she's still alive because he believes Nyuu to be innocent.
Anime: Lucy faces a firing squad in order to sacrifice herself, but Kouta hears the doorbell ring and sees a silhouette of Lucy outside his door. Manga: Kouta forces a promise from Lucy never to ever kill someone again but she doesn't keep it and realizes her immorality is forcing her to literally melt away. Both Lucy and Nyuu beg Kouta to kill them with a gun to make the pain easier. Kouta cannot do anything but oblige. Years later diclonii are found as children to many humans and birth restrictions are put on until finally one physician finds the cure. Kouta, now an adult, and his daughter go to the tree where Kouta and Lucy first met (because Lucy promised she would meet him there someday). Kouta cannot find anything and cries because he believes Lucy has broken her promise. However, Kouta's daughter finds a small bottle next to the tree. It's from "Kaede" (which is Lucy's real name) and it says that she liked being with him and hopes to play with him again (this was written while she was little). Right then two twins appear behind the two. The daughter says, "Kaede! What are you doing here?" The twins reply, "We are waiting here for someone. A very special friend." Kouta turns towards the twins with tears in his eyes and the manga ends.

| Ooooh....I just got really confused the first time I read that epilogue. So those two are Lucy/Nyuu's reincarnations or something? | |

| It's heavily implied about that what with the location and the name "Kaede" and the fact that there are TWO of them (Lucy and Nyuu). So yes.
But then, you know, now Kouta's like years older than them, it can't exactly go well can it?

| Haha! I watched the first episode - compliments of Señor Poon - but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll give it another try, some day. But I am looking for a good anime to get lost in.
Any suggestions? | |

| A new anime, hm?? WELL... I'm not uber-obsessed with much anime (save Digimon and FMA), but I do have many close friends who are, and I've seen a hodge-podge of anime episodes and heard/read many of the plots. ANYWAY. Out of all the ones I've seen/read, these are the ones I reccomend: ~Elfen Lied (duh.) ~Peacemakers (I heard it was kinda weird, but at the same time awesome) ~Dragonball (because Christopher R. Sabat is in it... and Envy would shoot me if it wasn't included) ~Trinity Blood (heard it was violent and gorey but seriously epic!!) ~Fullmetal Alchemist (...) ~Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (a-MA-zing! but different from the original) ~Fushigi Yuugi (The Mysterious Play) (Tama-kins is a shmexy beasty) ~Fruits Basket ~Skip Beat! ~Ouran High School Host Club (Tamaki is a beast... and Nekozawa's my hero!) Some shonen, some shojo. I like a nice mix of the two | |

| I'm about to cry.
I wait three years for Season 2 of Haruhi, and it finally comes out...
...and I am forced to repeat EIGHT DAMN ****ING EPISODES ALL WITH THE SAME THING.
The series ends with the final episode of the Sighs arc. If a miracle happens, Disappearance will come out on the thirteenth. Which I am begging for.
So I turn to K-On! for solace, and the series gets cut off at twelve episodes.
So I turn to the Haruhi new character songs, but they turn out to make my ears bleed.
So I turn to the Anti-Cliché and Mary-Sue Elimination Society, and I get stuck in a position where I have three fics done and I can't post any of them.
So I finally go to my last resort, Vocaloid, and...
...my computer breaks down.
Help~ T.T | |

| ...that seriously sucks. *holds out Samurai 7* How's this? Ahhh... Mecha anime. Kinda. Okay, not really. More like epic on a platter. If you don't want shounen or quasi-mecha... *rummages through bag* I have Mushi-shi! Plotless and awesome. Vic Mignogna's episode made me cry, almost. And Travis Willingham's voice... *dies at awesomeness* | |
