I loved the side stories, Nana and the little girl with the dog (whose name escapes me.)
It just got to the point where my feelings towards it could be summed up by a general "bleh"

Does it get good in the secong half? What about the finale?

Well, in the second half stuff just comes to an end...I don't want to say too much, because Diane has a violent allergic reaction to spoilers.

But I will say this...11 metre vectors.

Talk away, I wasn't planning on watching the whole thing.

I only watched the first 10 minutes and... HOLY MOTHER EFFERS! I want that power!

I liked Anna and the King. Even though it's supposedly not true to real life at all. Very Happy And who can forget the Sound of Music? I watched it in Music Lesson (I think I had a lazy music teacher and all we ever did was watch that and Disney in parts during our short lessons) and it was great!

*breaks into song*
Can not touch, can not hold,
Can not be together.
Can not love, can not kiss,
Can not have each other.

Must be strong,
And we must let go.
Cannot say
What our hearts must know.

How can I not love you?
What do I tell my heart?
When do I not want you
Here in my arms?

How does one walk away
From all of the memories?
How do I not miss you
When you are gone?

How can I not love you
When you are gone?

Mom loved this movie a lot; this song as well.

If we're talking about musicals, I'd have to say Across the Universe is one of my all time favorties.

I'm not a big fan of musicals... but I don't mind a few of them.

I can't say I liked Across the Universe though. I just... didn't like it.

*shrugs*

But, good movie: Bon Cop Bad Cop. Utterly hilarious... best part - click here

If you are able to, you should all definitely see My Sister's Keeper. It's out in theatres in the USA right now, and it is AWESOME. It's about a girl whose older sister has cancer, and she has had to donate parts of her own body since the day she was born to help her sister. It isn't a true story, but still very heartwrenching. Based on a book by the same name!

Noooooooo, I refuse to see My Sister's Keeper. When you cry during the trailer, you'll cry during the movie!

[and Alyss, that's not the best part of Bon Cop, Bad Cop. But I have used those expressions in my English-language classes and no one knows what I'm saying. Razz Best part is the My Suspect, Mon Car part.]

Alright. I just gotta say. I saw My Sister's Keeper... Not a fan. I'm not sure why, I mean, cinematically, it was great...

...but Jesse wasn't a pyro anymore. That depressed me soooo much. Sad

However, I *did* see an epic movie called DEATH NOTE! Very Happy Actually, that's three epic movies ("Death Note", "Death Note II: The Last Name" and "L Change the World"). Just gotta say, Kenichi Matsuyama was perfect as L. :3

...and that's my otaku rant of the day.

Ooooh, has anyone seen the new "Alice in Wonderland" movie yet? If so... HOW IS IT?! Is Johnny Depp still awesome? How about Helena Bonham Carter?

(...and on a side note... this place really has fallen off the face of the earth... NOT. COOL.)

Will NOT see My Sister's Keeper. Along with The Lovely Bones or the Last Song. Just... no.

Haven't seen Alice in Wonderland, prolly won't because I hate Tim Burton with a fiery passion. Love Johnny Depp, though.

Death Note 1 and 2 were amazing. 3 was a little disappoiting but still good nonetheless. I loved how they animated Ryuk - he was so realistic!

Hmm.. I really want to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Sherlock Holmes. Very Happy

Oooh, I LOOOOVE Tim Burton!!! (This is only because my older sisters are fans and I grew up with his films.) I ended up going to see it... I enjoyed it. Johnny Depp was a creeper. FAN-TASTIC!!!! Very Happy

I didn't pay much attention to Sherlock Holmes, but what I saw was awesome Smile

Call me whatever you wish, but I have no desire to see/read Percy Jackson and the Olympians. At all.

I fell asleep trying to watch Chocolat (another Johnny Depp film) but I just recently saw the movie Zombieland and loved it. I watched it while eating a Twinkie. I cannot express how guilty I felt. xD

I didn't go see Sherlock Holmes. Or Alice in Wonderland.

(Chocolat is one of my favourite movies)

I LOVED Zombieland! And I can't watch gore or zombies Razz

But the real question is. At the risk of putting my foot in it.
Has anyone seen How To Train Your Dragon!?

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON WAS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I'VE SEEN IN THE PAST YEAR!!! Yeah, yeah, it sounds reeeeally dumb coming from a fifteen year old girl from a little out-of-the-way place that nobody goes in New England (oooh, old Monkee's reference there, for any nerds like me who love old TV...), but its true. How To Train Your Dragon was... in a word... Phenomenal.

I went to the drive-in to see it with a couple of friends of mine, and we expected it to be a waste of money. Not true. Best twenty bucks I've ever spent in my whole life. Or, well, one of the best twenty-dollar bills I've---you know what, ignore me. I don't know what I'm saying. But still. It was a great movie and I am soooo happy I got talked into seeing it. You'll love it, there are so many great lines... xP

I almost died watching Zombieland, it was hysterical. "Snowballs?! SNOWBALLS?! WHERE ARE ALL THE F***IN' TWINKIES?!" Ahh haha... *needs a life*

Has anyone seen Shutter Island? The book looks awesome, I want to know how the movie is, too, if anyone's seen it...

And I watched Spirited Away today (not in a theatre, though). It was awesome too. I have the soundtrack stuck in my head now. (The last movie to have done that was Disney's Beauty and the Beast -- great music too).

And I'm dying to see Robin Hood.

I've just recently discovered an affinity I have for Mel Brooks films. I mean, the Producers was amazing and so was Young Frankenstein. Kenneth Mars was in both and I love him to death. "Churchill! Ha! Churchill... couldn't even say 'Nazis'. Noses, he said, noses! Bah!" xD Looove the Producers.

I blame my father.
He introduced me to various genres.
It's kept me somewhat rounded.
