| I guess this could really be "The Good Times", but hey! Things are different when you're a kid! When I was in Middle School (aged 9-12), me and my two best friends were obsessed with Treasure Planet, the Disney movie. We used to play our own games, using the characters, almost every break and lunch- and whenever we saw each other in between. This happened so much, that one of them we nicknamed "Morph"- which in it's turn became "Morphina" (and years later she was to be christened "Dozy", but that's another story). My other friend was "Jim" because she was massively obsessed with the boy, and I was "Emily", an OC that was daughter of the cat-like Captain thing... Anyways. One day, we chanced apon a little pink ball of fluff. Which we named Morph. Then we -I forget how- decided that this Morph was dead and that we should bury him. We did so underneath the "Matrix Tree" (so named because it was slanted so you could run up the side of it and jump off, rather elegantly). We put up a tiny little gravestone and everything. We went to "pay our respects" every day. About a week later, chaos! SOMEONE HAD STOLEN THE GRAVESTONE! We were distraught, and understandably so. But Morph's body was still there- a little dusty and with various flecks of grass stuck to him, but he was alive! (Well, not really). So we decided he needed a new burial place. Which lead us to The Steps... "The Steps" were a bunch of steps (woah, really?) that lead up to a little platform outside our maths classroom. They were a generally fun place, and we used to eat our packed lunches sitting outside on them when the weather permitted. On one side was a brick wall that slanted so you could slide down it, the other was gardens. This is where we re-buried Morph... But it was even less successful than the last time. The next day we came back, and he was no where to be found And to make matters even more distressing for Little Aana, about a month later Morphina decided she didn't want to be called that anymore- because she'd learnt their was a drug named "Morphine". She didn't want to be connected with it. It was really hard to adjust too... And years later, we re-christened her Dozy. But sometimes I still want to call her "Morphina". ...Yeah. Just an old memory I wanted to share with you guys! | |

| *Cracks knuckles* Here we go.. Primary school went by in a blur of Pokemon cards & tazos, football where I was always 'the one who runs and gets the ball', bullies and psycho teachers. Really is a lovely place, though shamefully I looked like I had fallen out with my dentist and hairdresser. Middle school faired no better. Still played football (yes actually played it this time) and got quite good - I earned the title of 'Legend' and lost a fair bit of weight doing it. Friendships were made & broken (often in the same week), trips to a theme park only to go on the same ride 7 times in a row, smacking my head on the bar almost every time. After an eventful - and, lets face it, confusing - 4 years, it was time to leave. Upper school.. well it was odd. I mean, fair enough I met my best friend there, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed it. I had the misfortune to cross paths & insults with 2 people who to this day I still loath, lost a year of friendship with someone and got crap results. Was also lied to about getting into Sixth Form. But, I think my best childhood memory would have to be middle school footy. Took me until I was 13 to actually feel like I fitted in somewhere | |

| One of my favourite childhood memories was frolicking around the fields! I was this daydreamy little kid who would go around picking wild flowers and talking and singing to myself! Haha. And me and my friends would drink the nectar out of the ixora flowers and prod at all the mimosa plants and wait for the leaves to open up again!! In lower primary (around 8 years old), my two then best friends and I set up a secret club, complete with passwords and such. One of our daily activities were treasure hunting. There was this mysterious metal bar sticking out of the sand in the school grounds, and we'd go there and dig because we were convinced it was something, well... MAGICAL. And we'd go around hitting this poor boy that somehow got a little too pestery for his own good. Tee hee. Primary school wasn't ALL that great because a couple of the teachers there were real jerks, not to mention a few really mean classmates, plus I only really opened up when I was around 15 (before that I was really the spacey little bookworm!). But looking back it wasn't all bad... secret chatbooks were all the rage then (something like passing notes) and I still have some of those chatbooks... reading the content can be a little cringe-worthy, but still. | |

| Hmm.... well, one of the "childhood" memories that I remember most was the Beggar's Night of my 7th grade year. I had just gotten my braces on two days before, and my mouth still hurt so candy was out of the question. So my big brother promised me $20 if I went trick-or-treating for him since he was 17. I was like, okay, sure. So I wore my 6th grade uniform and went trick-or-treating by myself because my dad and little brother had already left. It was about 10 minutes later that I realized someone was following me. I kept walking and tried to ignore him, but my shoes were beginning to hurt. So I sat down on this stone wall in front of someone's house to take my shoes off, and he sat down next to me and said, "Mind if I sit here?" in a creepy voice. I left my shoes there and took off running for home. I was terrified! O_O | |

| Your brother should've gone with you. How dare he send you out to trick-or-treat for him and not come along to keep an eye out for you. ;(
I got lost in downtown Toronto once with a friend of mine. We were I think 11 or something. We were at the Skydome watching a baseball game but we took the wrong bus going home after it ended. Needless to say we spent much of the day wandering around the streets trying to find our way home. lol I was so thankful when my sister finally found us.

| Yeeeeah. Needless to say I wasn't allowed to go alone the next year. DX
But getting lost in Toronto would definitely be a lot scarier! I don't like big cities just because when I get lost I start flailing and making a fool of myself.

| Ah, getting lost...
I once followed the wrong pair of legs. We were at the ferry terminal and I think I was like, 6? So I followed this guy who I thought was my dad until I grabbed his hands and oops, I realised I was lost! They all looked the same from the back then...

It was the men using them!

| LOL!
I walked into a men's room once too... lucky for me it was empty!
I've noticed that they're much stinkier than the females' though. (My friends and I would sneak into the boys' room in school to use cos the girls' were somehow always locked by then)
