And welcome back! It's super awesome to have ya back.

Oh my goodness ! Hello, I am back (briefly). Sorry I haven't been on at all! School basically has been kicking my ass... And will continue to do so once break ends. But, for now I am back!

Eeeh... this place is pretty dead right now, no?

But I'm hoping things will pick up again once the Summer gets here... *hopeful*

Well, there was that time during the holidays when I thought for sure Nina was going to use her awesome powers of sunny and flowery persuasion to herald the arrival of spring revive the forum. Alas, it seems school's grip is much too strong. We'll just have it out, I guess.

I'm working on fighting it, but it's so hard trying to get things done! I mean, I even quit pre-calculus for some blessed free time. And to save my GPA. The teacher believed in the philosophy that since we were all honors students, we could teach ourselves from the book and then ask her if we had any help. Yeah, no. I don't learn by meself - that's what a TEACHER is for, correct?

Anyway, I digress. I am working on those challenges, just not very quicklike.

Yeah...I've been writing other stories too. Strangely enough, not the challenge.

I finished exams today (my hand is KILLING me) so that challenge will be done sometime this week, and it shall be posted XD

That is my goal.

I'll bug you if I remember =P

Thing is, I've been away too. They don't work so well in that case, do they?

I, too, was defeated by the workload of school. I mean, I can usually handle just fine. As in, I usually don't DO any homework. A few weeks ago, however, I reviewed my ambitions concerning what I want to do next year (after high school) and let's just say my new project... it's really ambitious.
Grades must therefore go up, and spare time down. Boo.

Having said that, I do have over 1000 words of Matt's challenge done! As well as another project shaping up pretty well, and a little snippet thing I'm determined to turn into something more.

I have mock exams after my winter break, but fingers crossed I'll have time --when not revising-- to finish some fics!

Lol, I have about 1000 words of your challenge done....it's not shaping as well I thought it might, though. But that's ok. I'll just sleep on it some more.

Just thought I'd let people here know that I've been given a conditional place at Birmingham City University Can't wait to leave this town!!

Waaaaah~! Congratulations!!! *big hug!* Getting accepted to university is an awesome feeling.

If we're talking unis, I've been accepted to Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison! I've yet to choose which one I'm going to, but still, it's there.

I'm back down to about 700 now...I deleted about half of the stuff I wrote. Again.

I haven't started writing, but ideas have been brewing, so we'll see how it goes... This semester seems fairly slack, so I'm hoping to be able to get some writing done during my spare XD

And I'm still working... like a snail, but I'm working. I still haven't gotten much written for Evenstar's request, and she asked me about that in August!! I feel terrible. D:

Ah, don't sweat it. My food fight challenge is also coming along rather slowly too. I was on a roll for a moment there, but now it's slowed back down. Pooh.

What is it you're working on for Evenstar?

Also, I now wonder about typing with crossed toes. Yikes.

A while ago, she posted something in the library forum about an idea she's had for a long time called "Tracer Virus" and I volunteered to take a crack at it. Now it's not so hot... I bit off more than I can chew.

I like abandoned the fandom because I was tired of shit-fics... and sadly that hasn't improved much but I missed you all.

So I'm semi-back! And working on a Digimon fic that's kicking my ass because apparently my Japanese got completely jacked up when I became SuJu-obsessed. *sigh*

But an effort is an effort, y/y?
