Buffy the Vampire Slayer Remake

Even though I'm a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and I think Joss Whedon is god (jk), I can admit that the movie that launched the BTVS series was horrible. It should probably be redone.

But it should be done by Joss Whedon! Not other people!

None of the cast or characters from the tv series will be in it.

I can see the movie going so wrong. Mostly because I'm not sure writers who've never worked on a Whedon show (Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse) will be able to write the quirky dialogue right.

And I'm living in terror that they'll Disneyfy it or something.

If Miley Cyrus ends up playing Buffy I'll kill someone!

OMG you mean the old version with Luke Perry and David Arquette(?)?

Yeah, that so should have been remade but I loved the original just because it was the original! It spawned one of my favorite shows of all time - even though said show sucked after season 4.

I didn't like season four for the most part, though it had some good episodes (Hush for example). I liked seasons five-7.

My favorite seaon was 2 though.

The movie, though horrible, did spawn one of the best TV shows in a long while...so it should probably be left alone.
