Small Children

I started dyeing my hair at age 13, but it was a month before my 14th birthday, as a Christmas resent. Just some red bangs. Did that for a year until I found my purple dye... la de dah.

I've never dyed my hair. I'm a boring person. :/ My sister did when she was in high school. Like, religiously.

I had black hair from the age of about, uh, 13-14... until 16-17 maybe? >.< which is why I don't like seeing kids dye their hair- my sister had hers red when she mustve been about 9? And since we're both naturally blonde, it took forever to come out bad times.

That said, if it's wash-in/wash-out or semi-permanent, it's not too bad. But 9? Way to young

As for kids growing up too fast? I hear that! Again turning to my sister- she's a great kid, but she talks and dresses like she's about 15. This one SERIOUSLY creepy guy I used to hang out with got a bit of a crush on her. He's 20. My sister is 12. We don't hang out anymore.

...Alright, that last bit is reeeeeally sketchy.

I may have colored my hair once for three months for a play I was in... I don't even remember anymore xD But I agree about the hair dye thing. Elementary school? I would never, ever allow my kid to dye their hair when they're nine. There's no reason to! (Or, well, there SHOULD be no reason to.) If its, like, dying your bangs or something, maybe I could see that happening. But otherwise... Why?

As far as my sister was concerned, it was a case of "I want to be like you". I didn't realise at the time because I was quite a bit younger, I got really annoyed by it.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

But I don't care for flattery and all imitation does is annoy me
