I know...and I wrote it! I even went back to check!

I'm up for nearly every pairing, they ALL have their pros and cons. But when I see incest, that's ONLY cons.

No one likes a Clothed Fire Rice Paddy, of course no one would like Iori.

I think it grosses you out the most when you've got both older and younger siblings.
Trust me. There is nothing remotely smexy about it.
It's just grim.

Worst: Taikari. It's utterly unhealthy and disfunctional. And Daikari isn't very good either... It's sort of unhealthy too, as Davis' feelings are certainly closer to obsession than actual love.

The obsession part is a good point.

Imagine how that'd work out.... After three years (or whatever) of buying flowers, chocolates, plushies; writing countless love-notes etc, and suddenly BAM! Hikari and Daisuke are together. Does anyone else see him standing there, scratching the back of his neck with a giant "What do I do now?" sign plastered to his forehead?

When I see Yakari, I see Takeru being all like, what the hell?
Then Yamato takes Hikari off for some smexin.

And if I'm completely honest, I don't HATE Takari.
I hate people who take it too far (but lets not point fingers) and I hate people who go "OOH, BUT THE EVIDENCE!" etc.
But I feel kinda sorry for it- it's the most abused of all pairings I think. Like all the newbie writers with the bad grammar and the overused storyline...


I like Yakari because even though Yama's often portrayed as "the whore" or "the drugged up rocker", his character is actually very insecure and sweet- and I reckon that's where Hikari could help him out.

Thus the reason, despite my adoration for Takari, why Aana's converted me to a Yakari fan.
