I never really thought about KenKeru. I guess it could work, they're both pretty relaxed (and when they're angry, they're angry).
Though that might make them a little too similar?

LP, I can't remember the scene you're talking about, but : breading sharing=romance?

These are traditional chinese pork buns, or "bao". I remember thinking that they look extraordinarily huge.

It isn't romance-ish or anything... but die-hard Kenkeru fans use this as a "hint". I once saw a fansite with this as their theme.

That's a pairing I quite like actually, Daiyako. Their arguing always gets me smiling

Oh yeah that's a pretty interesting pairing! They'd make a pretty cute couple ... but probably get into LOADS of arguments.

I think Daiyako is good when it's written in the comedic sense. I'm not a fan of it when it's super romance or OCness galore.

You know the kids in playschool all the others kids' parents complain about? Yeah, that's them. In an adorable way of course ^^

And romantic Daiyako? Uh, yeah, I don't see that.
But a fun, crazy young love? That, I can see

I have to say, I was a bit miffed Miyako married Ken... I've got nothing against them, but think about it...

Daiyako spawn would kick Kenyako kids butt. Forty times over.

Okay, I agree with Nina. But I don't see Daiyako working for very long. Most of the time, and this is my own opinion, people whose personalities are greatly similar tend to clash. (i.e. A Week In Vain Bliss, Mimi and Matt were too alike to function properly). I see Miya and Dai as being at each other's throats more than actually loving one another.

But, then again, Aana has a point about the Daiyako spawn.

It's just logical really, if you think about it.

If you want to settle down and live peacefully married, awesome shouting matched and a wild ride probably aren't what you're going to base a relationship on.

Daisuke and Miyako (to me, at least) don't seem to be the type who would think that far ahead. Relationship-wise, those too really don't think things through at all. They're impulsive : "Oh! Look! Shiny! Want!" And thus, the chase begins
I'm not implying they're stupid, not at all. Just that they're not going to spend several weeks analysing their feelings.

And that, makes for great -preferably summer- fun.

Edit to add : Oh, and word on the similar personalities not working together. I always cringe when I see a couple like that.

Deep down, I agree with you entirely.

But I will dream of my demon spawn... I mean, my Daiyako spawn...

They are irrational and spontaneous. So yes, I could see the "summer fling" happen.

I don't know if this one got mentioned on this topic but now let's talk about Daikeru (can't believe I'm suggesting that XD)

Anyhow this one came to my mind after read a post on one of the forums of fanfiction.net. The poster got a good point, we really never got to see much of TK and Davis' friendship developing more, it did developed a bit but then Ken entered and was all Ken this and Ken that for Davis, though it also helped Davis to keep him distracted and we got a break about seeing him trying to impress Kari, I mean they gave Davis something to do with trying to get Ken to join them and it put his capacities of leadership on test with that.

Returning to Daikeru, I also don't know how it came to be, my guess is because of the supposed rivalty(sp?) for Kari

Maybe it was that factor indeed. I mean they bonded over the object of their "supposed" affection. It might make sense that in the instance that she denied them both, they found solace in each other.

At the risk of sounding crude, I reckon Kari discovered affections for Sora, and Takeru and Daisuke followed suit to try and get Kari's attention... and then realised their true feelings?


Yes. I admit my imagination is a bit on the slightly whack side atm.
