Miyako pulled me rather forcibly into the elevator.

Perhaps a fraction too forcibly, because we tumbled in and landed in a rather compromising position.

On the floor.

We stared at each other for about two seconds. I felt a little tingly all over, to be honest.

That was when I had the good sense to remember to press the elevator button.

I did so and the door slid shut in front of us. I turned to Willis, who was still on the floor, looking disoriented... and screamed.

"COCKROACH!!!!"

Miyako

You know those shoes with the really deep grooves on their soles?

Well, they're really, really effective for killing certain disgusting lifeforms... like cockroaches.

But have I EVER mentioned how difficult it is to clean up afterward?

As the elevator door opened, both of us simulatenously let out enormous sighs of relief. Willis had, to put it mildly, surprised me with his extraordinarily large vocal range.

My shoe felt reaally dirty... I wondered if I could get it cleaned in Yamato's house. The loud noise and music issuing from one of the apartments was enough to tell us which one we were headed to.

::Ken::

I'll admit it - I went a little bit crazy.

At first, I added just a few marshmallows of each, making it a nice, round number of six. But as I watched it, the marshmallows began to melt in the piping hot liquid. I frowned and began adding a bit more to make up for the ones that had melted on me.

The entire surface of my drink was now covered in equal amounts of white and pink marshmallows, but I realized that there was enough room to add another layer of fluffy, squishy goodness to my drink.

Without further ado, I dumped the rest of the marshmallows in my mug.

Catherine

Woah. Dai looks like a stripper...

Interesting.

I see Takeru and Sora and walk over. "I'm sorry about before," I tell them. "I was having a bad day and was taking it out on other people. Sorry you had to see it."

Rosa

Catherine's here. Should I eliminate her?

The bad thing is I'm not sure she's a threat. She did use her powers on someone, but that girl seemed like a total bitch anyway. If I had powers, I'd probably use them on bitchy people too.

Who wouldn't?

Whatever, I'll just sit back and watch her and eliminate her if she proves herself a threat. For now, I'll just find a hot guy to spend time with.

The blond, who's life I saved, is standing over there talking to Catherine and another girl.

Maybe I can make something happen with him.

Takeru

I scanned through my old texts quickly as Sora and I chatted idly, noticing that some of them were from Hikari. I couldn't help wondering where she was right now - I hoped she was doing fine since the little drama in the car. Maybe I should ask her if she wanted to come over; given what I had seen so far, I was pretty sure Yamato wouldn't mind.

I had just finished sending the text when Catherine appeared by our side all of a sudden, with an apology at hand. She looked pretty down... must've been one heck of a bad day for her.

"It's no problem," I told her reassuringly. "Who doesn't have their bad days?"

I never heard her reply, because I was suddenly blinded by a flash of purple...

Miyako

"WOW! LOOK AT ALL THE FOOD!" I hurried over to the table piled with all sorts of bowls and goodies. My stomach rumbled in response to the delightful sight. I hadn't even realised how hungry I was!

I half-dragged Willis through the crowd and toward the table. My eye was on that yummy looking caramel chocolate platter. There were only two pieces left!

"Hey, watch out!"

I don't know who said the words or when, but by the time they had made sense in my mind, it was too late.

I had only the briefest moment to look down at what I had tripped over... (it was a multi-coloured sneaker. Hooray.)

... Before flying straight into the arms of the all-too-familiar waiter back from the club.

::Ken::

"Whatcha looking at?" I asked, slurping up the goodness I had created.

She was plastered to the window, face smushed nicely against the glass. I chose not to point out that she was fogging up the window, but I was almost certain she'd be able to figure that out soon enough. I took another big gulp of heavenly chocolate and ended up with melting marshmallow stuff on the end of my nose. Carefully, I crossed my eyes and reached my tongue out to lick it up.

Rosa

Ow. Some idiot just tripped on my foot.

And she's in the arms of confused but hot blond guy.

Things like this never happen to Dean Winchester.

::Ken::

My tongue barely had time to reach the tip of my nose before she spun around and grabbed me, dragging me away from my foaming cup of melted marshmallows. I whimpered and glared at her cat (as a silent warning to stay away from my beloved drink) as we rushed out the door and across the road. I tried to tell her that we needed to hurry, because the marshmallows would get soggy if we didn't get back right away, but I don't think she heard me...

We entered the building across from hers - no doubt what she had been staring at from the window - and my eyes swept over the foyer, noticing how elegantly it was set up, and how familiar it looked...

[P.S. Umm... does anyone know what happened to Jyou... 'Cause I think I lost him... ]

(Tbh, I have no idea where we left of. Some I'm just gonna wing it.)

Falling...

It's an interesting feeling. There's nothing around you. You're body is just slicing through the air. Try as you might to grab a hold of something, there's nothing. Nothing but air. Thin, thin, ungraspable air.

So I'm pretty sure I'm going to die. It's a long ways down. Will anyone even notice me there? How long am I, I mean, is my body going to lay there before anyone finds it? I really hope I'm not like rotten when they find me. That would suck. I'd look all retarded.

Maybe I could angle myself just right, I'll look pretty cool when they find my body. Face up would be good. If I smashed face first into the pavement, I wouldn't look too pretty... Damn, this is eff'd up! I'm going to die!

"You're not falling," a snide voice interrupted my frantic thoughts.

I hadn't noticed that I closed my eyes. I cracked one open and smiled. I was standing on a ledge looking into the apartment of the big party.

"Huh, thanks." And... I think I just fainted.


::Yamato::

I stared back and forth between a slightly smirking Yuri and a cautious Daisuke who was pulling off my purple pants better than I did. Well, that's no fair. Ah, time to be the bigger man, Yamato. You are going to be helping the less fortunate, or in Daisuke's case, the utterly hopeless.

"No one is going to be hurting anyone here, boys," I assured them both. "As a matter of fact, from here on out, tonight is going to get interesting. Tonight, gentlemen, we're gonna be famous."

They both looked at me uncertainly.

People should know by now... never underestimate the lengths Ishida Yamato will go to get what he wants.

Daisuke

Famous? I had no idea what Yamato-san was talking about. Sure, two hunks like us would be doing fine with the ladies, and Yuri would be our foreigner mascot, but I didn't see how we'd be getting anywhere tonight. He was probably just exaggerating; trying to make us feel at home in his apartment.

... or maybe he was trying to make me feel better about being forced into wearing his Superman undies.

"Ignoring that," Yuri began. He turned to me. He prodded my shoulder with his index finger as he asked his question, "and speaking of that car accident... how are you still standing?"

Yamato seemed to be looking at me with curiosity, too, "That's true! You were carried off with a stretcher just an hour ago."

I frowned. I didn't quite have a proper answer for this. I didn't even remember much about the accident. It must have been Iori though.

Oh! Iori! I had almost forgotten about him. Where was he? I turned around, taking a quick glance outside...

... and right at that point I saw Taichi-san collapse into the apartment from the open window.

Well, I thought, that's one way to crash a party.

Miyako

I prised myself off the blonde, my face a lovely shade of red. Everyone was staring. This sucked!

"Uh... heh heh! Anyone thirsty? Erm, drinks!" I giggled and pranced off.

A sudden noise alerted me and I turned to see the brown-haired guy from earlier land through the window and right smack onto the floor - on his face!

Well, at least this overshadowed my previous embarrassment. I decided it was best to hurry over and help - I had experience in first aid after all.

"MAKE WAY! MAKE WAY! FIRST AIDER COMING THROUGH!"

Takeru

Was that Tai - I mean, Kohaku?! Damn, why did this new gatecrasher (or should I say windowcrasher, hehehehe - okay, not funny) have to look so much like Taichi?

A crowd was already fast gathering around him, and the screaming purple-haired girl told me that at least someone with medical experience was able to help. I turned to the small group next to me - my brother, Daisuke and Yuri. I scowled at his presence. Yamato may have forgotten who made him temporarily blind, but I certainly hadn't.

"Becoming famous?" I snorted. Yamato and his ideas... they got crazier with each passing one. "What in the world are you talking about?"
