| Time for a little logic: The number of reviews and the number of hits a story recieves are inportional to each other. The more hits a story has the less people review. And vice versa. I have no idea if anything I just said makes sense. I'm so tired right now.. Feel free to rip my only half-awake theory to shreds. _________________ Because I'm worth Kaname.

| I've seen a oneshot that has 150 reviews. And they keep on coming. |

| No, Caitlin, I get what you're saying. They never add up. But I guess you really can't complain when you have loyal readers who will deal with anything your brilliant, or in my case absurd, mind comes up with. _________________ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ This is war Every line is about who I don’t want to write about anymore

| I am really freaking annoyed right now. I wrote a Harry Potter one-shot that has over 500 hits and is on 5 favorites lists... And it has 1 review. Only 1 person reviewed the story. I don't mean to sound like an ungrateful bitch, because I'm glad someone reviewed, but still considering that in over 500 hits at least one other person could have reviewed. Sorry if I sound bitchy. _________________ Because I'm worth Kaname.

| I know how you feel, Caitlin. It sucks when people fav without reviewing. I mean, I'm glad that people like it enough to fave it, but I would really like to see what they have to say about the story! But I guess you gotta admit that Harry Potter is a humongous fandom - so many stories are uploaded there every single day - heck, hour - so getting five favs and one review is pretty good actually. _________________ I'm not lazy, I'm just energetically-challenged! |

| I've seen so many great FF stories and even some regular fictionpress stories, and no reviews, after like, 1000+ hits. Like, come on! _________________ love is like a thunderstorm ~ electricity and sparks ~ connecting earth and sky

| Maybe no one liked them, despite being attracted perhaps by a catchy title or summary. For a fic with more than one chapter, it's more reliable to take a look at how many hits the last chapter has. It tells you how many people liked the fic to read it through and didn't just get bored after reading the first chapter. |

| Honestly, I don't mind when people alert/favorite and don't review. It let's me know that they liked it enough to want to continue reading it/read again later on. And if anything, the hits a story gets makes me happy, too, even if the sotry never gets reviewed at all, because it means that they summary seemed, at the very least, interesting enought to get people to click on it. Does that make any sense, or am I completely bonkers? Now, the flamers are what torch my shorts. They act all high and mighty, like they're the gods of writing, and then their stories are usually mediocre, at best. _________________ This picture is made of epic win. | In regards to what Andre said... That's not necessarily true. For chapter fics, more times than not, the first chapter will have the most hits. The reason being that when you click on the title of the story it automatically takes you the first chapter. And then you have the not-so-bright people who will click through every chapter just to get to the last. The hits, regardless of the number, are never reliable! ... Rain? You're just a little different than me, but in a good way! My new ARGH-WTF-WTS! is people who alert completed fics. _________________ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ This is war Every line is about who I don’t want to write about anymore
