| Okay, then. But one at a time. Tell me if you get confused somewhere. Most of you who've already talked to Witnesses will know this already but this is primarily for Potgenie since witnessing (or "house-to-house" as it's called) is banned in her area (there are probably Witnesses in your area nonetheless). "Jehovah" is the accepted English translation of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton יהוה (YHWH), God's personal name. It might be in your Bible; check Psalm 83:18 and you'll see a rendering of this translation of the divine name unless they used "Yahweh" which is also an acceptable translation. |

| Next I think it's good to think how our beliefs are different from, say, the Catholics. One thing we differ in is that we Witnesses do not believe in an immortal soul. The body is the soul and when the body dies so does the person's consciousness. |
