I had this very vague idea about an AU story in which the Chosen of 01 and 02 are gods living in present day. They are a very dysfunctional group and tend to clash; one of them has gone off on their own (probably Mimi, Daisuke, or Taichi).

And I have two continuity ideas:

1. someone or something is trying to destroy the gods.
2. Their memories of being gods have been wiped and their living as ordinary humans. Only one remember completely and most reform them in order to stop their enemies, the Demons, from taking over.

I don't know. It's probably a crap idea. Stupid plot bunny.

At the risk of my male pride, I'm going to comment that this sounds kinda like Sailor Moon. =o

The Sailor Scouts are like deities from their planets or something, aren't they? Reborn as humans and they can't remember their past lives. And Sailor Venus was the one that went off on her own, I think.


So obviously the idea worked somewhere! So maybe it could work for your story, too. ;p

I forgot about the Sailor Scouts! I was thinking about the Marvel Eternals.

I had an idea like this... I dropped it because twelve Gods is a lot of plotting. Plus it's harder to pick a "Godly" trait that would match up with each Chosen. There were way too many plot holes... but that's just me.
