What in the world is Nuclear Worms???

o.O What is Nuclear Worms! Tell me!!

This is making the icebreaker games I played last time (Murderer, Polar Bear, Whacko...) seem really lame!

Have you ever played "Hug the Pot Holder"?

That is one of the funniest games I've ever played/witnessed!!!

*shakes head* Sounds interesting, haha. What's it about!

Okay it's like this...

One person is sent outside or out of viewing distance (they're IT), while everyone else sits in a circle.
There is an actual pot (like the kind you boil water in) and a pot holder (the mini blanket thingy that you use to hold the pot so you don't burn yourself) in the middle of the circle. Now one person around the circle hide the pot behind them, while the holder remains in the center.

The person who is "it" is brought back to play the game.

Now all they see is the pot holder in the middle of the circle. They are given the simple instructions, "Hug the pot holder without using your hands."

The person is usually very confused which makes this even funnier.

Now the "IT" is trying to hug the holder in any way possible while the people in the circle are screaming, "HUG THE POT HOLDER!!!"

After so long the actual pot is brought back out, and is placed in the person who was hiding it's lap.

It may take a while but the point is for "IT" to literally hug the person "HOLDING" the pot.

I swear I almost peed my pants watching it first hand. People make complete asses of themselves trying to hug the material.

Nuclear Worms is simply this.

It's a little like Tag. Except, you are worms. Therefore, you have to lie on the floor, and the only way to move is to slide your body using your tummy, back and knee muscles (though you can roll from side to side- a good evasive tactic). You can't use your legs or arms. The idea of the game is not to become a nuclear worm. And how do you become a nuclear worm I hear you ask? Well... "It", is the nuclear worm. He's just like you, except... he can use his elbows to move about. Therefore, he is faster than you. To turn you into a nuclear worm like himself, he has to roll over you. And then you are "it" too, and you have to catch people too.


It's the best game in the world.

That does sound funny...where did you play that?

My induction for "mentoring". I was gunna be helping my old form teacher with the new year nines, and I went for this training day. We had to try out many, many ice-breakers. And NW was by far the best (Y)

...It's a shame I dropped out of sixth form three days after really :/

I see...well personally I HATE icebreakers!

But that one does sound really really funny!

I vote that NUCLEAR WORMS be included in the fic!!!

I hate ice-breakers where you have to remember things, and talk about yourselves.

And I want to read the DigiDestined playing HUG THE POT HOLDER!

That might be very funny.

Usually whoever is it gets extremely flustered, I would too if people were screaming their heads off telling me to hug a piece of fabric.

So if you do use it, make the person be Davis or Yolei. Those two are ticking time bombs...it would be pure comedy!!!

I shall try to include all these in the fic! Sounds like it'll be real fun to write. Nuclear Worms sounds FUN but PAINFUL!

And about the hug the pot holder game... you can't use your hands AT ALL? Even when you finally realise you're supposed to hug the person?
