Author's Note: This idea has been floating around in my head for awhile now ever since the Character Abuse topic started in the Discussions Thread. Please enjoy.



The spotlight falls on the center of a circular stage, specifically three chairs. Mimi sits on the chair to the left, Daisuke sits in the middle chair, and Sora sits in the chair to the right.

Mimi looks into the camera. "We'd like to take the time to talk about a problem in the fanfiction community that has been going on since the beginning."

Sora continues. "There is still discrimination. Not all Chosen are treated equally by fanfiction writers."

Daisuke interjects. "It's called character abuse. This kind of abuse messes our personalities up so much that we end up as: An obssesed Hikari stalker."

"Or so airheaded that it's a wonder I'm not brain dead ," continues Mimi.

"Or get made into a controlling bitch who depending on the story can't bare to see Taichi or Yamato happy with each other or other people," said Sora.

Mimi says, "We don't care if we're not your favorite characters. We just want respect from you."

"Please don't turn us into something we're not," continues Sora.

Daisuke leans toward the character. "Only you can stop character abuse. Just by not bashing us can start a change."

"We're in your hands," finishes Mimi, leaning back into her chair. "Dont' let us down."

Spotlight fades into darkness. Only the shilouettes of the three can be seen.

*nods twice*

Sounds like a commercial; around the lines of "If you stop buying, you can stop the killing,"

I like it!

I'd suggest putting italics on the first and last paragraphs. But heck, I don't do it here either, so I'm not one to talk.

Arc: Thanks. I probably should have put italics in...I'm not sure if I'll put it on fanfiction yet. If I do, I'll remember to put the first and last two paragraphs in italics.

This sounds great. Finally, an informative, non-bitchy characterisation.

Yay, someone's actually rallying for the goodness of the characters for a change!!! It's great.

Even though I do love the occasional OOC story... I thought this was great.

Andre's right, it does sound like a commercial... It's fab!
