This is Important.

These are posting guidelines.
Their first function is to keep the forum tidy and easy to navigate around.
But if any guidelines are ignored, posts will be deleted.

I'm sorry that I have to be so harsh here, but I have a strong desire to keep this forum running in top shape.

These guidelines will deal with each category individually, so that things are absolutely clear.


Basics:: Introductions and Notices.

Notice Basket : A place for notices aimed at everyone.

Introductions : A place to introduce yourself, once you have done so please don't post again.

Rag Bag : This is where staff post informative topics for everyone. Including this one

Staff Central : This is where all staff matters are posted.

Remember Kiddos- Persistance is the Key : Has one of the forum's authors not updated a fic you were enjoying in quite a while? Here's a place to give them a little nudge. (Please refrain from demanding/harassing for updates, of course)

Hall of Fame ::

Author of the month : Where you get to vote between of our forum's authors to see who will win the title of "Author of the Month" for a whole...well month.

Promotions : Make a fellow author feel special and promote them for all to see.

Best Caption! : Where we'll be putting up the results of our regular Caption Competitions.

Recommendations : Is there an author ar fanfic you think others would enjoy discovering? Why not put a word in?

Fan Clubs : the opposite of recommendations. Fics that have made you cringe? Authors who almost make you want to give up on fanfiction altogether? Here's the place to share your "horror stories".

FanFiction:: Challenges

Challenge Noticeboard : Please only post any General Challenges you may have as new topics. Remember to pay attention to the stickys.

General Challenges : This is where you can find challenges open to the whole forum, a great place to get started! Any members can post new ones.

Challenge Archive : Finished challenges -General or Private- are to be posted here.


FanFiction:: Your Stories

Beta'ed : Looking for a beta reader? Fancy yourself as a beta reader?

Library : This is where you can post any non-challenge fics you may want to share.

Projects : Anything you're working on and want to share can go here. whether you're looking for advice, want to give us a sneak peek or just feel like tossing ideas around.

Merry-Go-Round : This is where you can post any non-challenge SongFics. Especially as they aren't allowed on FF.net.

The Big White Room : A place to post MST fics. If you have any fics to recommend for Mst-ing please post on the thread asking for them (do not make a new topic)

Rockin' Robin : A place for Round Robins/Colab fics.


Playground::

Polls : Various votings on various subjects concerning Digimon and the Digidestined (often quite silly )

Discussions and Debates : Got a debate topic? Something that will get people talking? Want to get your views across? Then this is is the place
[Important note!: If you have a subject you would like to debate, Please check for any existing threads debating anythin similar.
This especially applies to the "Pairings" thread. If you want to talk about a pairing post on that thread. Any new topics on pairings will be deleted.]

RPG Central : This area is for all of the Forum's Role-Play Games. You can join in, but be sure to read the rules!

Competitions : Various competitions for all. Memebers cannot post new competitions. If you have an idea please tell the staff.

Fun! : Various fun things to see and do. Includes the "All Links Here" section.



Right, that's all the categories described. Now here are a few rules concerning posting in general.

Minimizing the creation of New Topics : Before creating a new topic, check that their are no threads concerning the same thing. This really is Important. Nobody wants a messy forum

Any new topic must be of concern to ALL forum members. Anything concerning only one or a few others can be done through PM-ing.

Absolutely no posts that straight out attack another member. Having said that, don't come crying if anyone disagrees/snaps etc. sorry, but we're not nannies




That's all for now, though modifications and additions are likely.

Looks good to me too. That's easy enough to follow. As long as we're all civil and respectful to one another. How hard can that be?
