Friday Nights, in Taichi's opinion, were not something to be wasted.
As a 16 year old, he saw it as his duty to go out and have fun on Friday Nights. Unfortunately, not many of his friends shared this opinion and hadn't wanted to do anything that evening. But Taichi wasn't going to give up so easily, this was why he was making his way over to Yamato's appartement on a Friday Night. He let himself in using the key Yamato had given him in case of an emergency. To Taichi having some fun on a Friday Night was an emergency.

He could hear music coming from his best friend's room. Yamato liked to fall asleep to music when he was stressed out.
'I hope he'll wake up' mused Taichi.

A lonely weekend, isn't what you need

'Matt must be crazy, wanting to spend his weekend alone' Taichi continued to think as he made his way to Yamato's room.'He won't be worrying about studying once he sees how fun a Friday Night can be.' Taichi opened the door.

''Hey Matt! Are you sleeping?''

He saw Matt stir. Taichi was surprised to find his heart beating faster:
'What the hell? Why am I nervous?'

''Hi Matt.'' Matt rubbed his eyes sleepily.
''Tai?? What the...?''

Yamato shivered, he was only wearing a T-shirt, looking a little annoyed he asked :
''Tai, are you going to barge into my room, wake me up and demand we do something fun, every single Friday Night?'' Taichi simply looked sheepish. Yamato continued :
''We're still in school, that means I need my weekends for studying,'' He pulled a face, '' Well, that's what my Dad says anyway.''

I can't hold this letter for too long

''But Matt, your Dad doesn't have to know, we could sneak out your window and-''
''Tai shut up. I don't need to hear another of your crazy plans.''
''Matt, don't you want to go outside? I mean come on, it's Friday Night!''

''Tai, you know my Dad, wants me to stay home and study, so drop it!''
''Don't you know your curfew's breaking my heart?'' He earned an amused chuckle from Yamato, so he continued :
''You could do it, just get up and come outside with me into the dark!'' Carried away by his enthusiasm he jumped onto the bed.

Yamato was trapped underneath Taichi in a tangled mess of covers. Taichi was praticaly straddling Yamato. Realizing how suggestive the position they were in was, he couldn't help but grin. He then saw Yamato's eyes darting to the side, the direstion of his father's room.
''It's alright.'' he said while cupping Yamato's face. Yamato's sleepy eyes looked at him, a little hazy.

''Matt, it's Friday Night, time to come alive and do something daring.'' Yamato was too dazed to react properly, but he smiled all the same.

''So Tai, how daring are you willing to be?'' asked Yamato with a smirk. Tai threw the smirk right back with a cocky reply :
''You know me, I'm as daring as they come. I'm up for anything you are.''
''Good, that's just what I wanted to hear'' Were Yamato's words before he pulled Taichi down to him. Not caring about the possiblity of having wrongly read Yamato's signals or the consequences, but only the feeling inside him and the proximity of their lips, Taichi bent down even further. Yamato's eyes widened. Sure he'd known Tai was the type of guy who'd do anything but--. He completely lost his line of thought when he felt Taichi's teeth sink into his bottom lip. He gasped and that was all Taichi needed to dive in with his tongue.

Taichi's hands started to roam, Yamato found himself aching for the touch. Having found his bearings, Yamato added his own tongue to the kiss. He found it all too short when Taichi pulled back and had to use all of his will power to supress a whimper. Taichi straightened up and looked down at him. He had a smile on his face and seemed to be glowing.

Still smiling Taichi said :
''Hey Matt, we could be lovers.'' A breath caught in Matt's throat he didn't know what to say. He then saw pain in Taichi's eyes as he tried to shake his last statement off.
'' Uh... don't worry, I didn't mean it... I wasn't thinking. You just go back to sleep and I'll go''

IT'S ALRIGHT
Open up your sleepy eyes

Yamato sat up and put a finger to his friend's – no lover's, he corrected himself – lips.
''It's alright'' he whispered. ''Don't go, I'm not feeling so sleepy anymore.''

Taichi face seemed to light up. He laid himself down next to Yamato.

''You don't need to go outside to have fun on a Friday Night.'' In response Taichi only pulled Yamato to him. Their lips locked for the second time that evening. Taichi smiled into the kiss. He'd definately be having fun on Friday Nights from now on.
