I assume most of you have heard of Twilight. For many of us little girls jumping around and squealing about how awesome it is are just plain unavoidable, as are the posters, and the shrines dedicated to the books in stores.

Now some of you may like Twilight, or even be fans. I'm not, I'm really, really, rah-heee-ly not. Nothing written here is done for the sole purpose of offending. So if you like Twilight, I invite you to read on and defend it.

Also, I have read the books (Well, more ...

Before I start, I don't want to offend anyone.

I try not to hold religious prejudices, so if any appear in this rant, then feel free to grill me.

Right.

My beef here isn't with Christianity as a whole. Lets get that straight.

In fact, it hasn't got too much to do with the religion.... it's the people.

I'm a pretty open minded girl. I'll listen to most people, question them fairly but not unkindly about their ideas, have a good time and come out feeling like a slightly better ...

Right so, I'm going to take an example to bring us to the topic of my rant.

(Uh, lingerie and sex toys referred to; just thought I'd give a head's up)

Today, whilst out shopping, I was in a lingerie store (that's lingerie store/sex shop in the back) quietly browsing.

In came two girls, two young girls. Seriously, I'd guess they were about 13 (and should have been at school at that time of day, I'm sure.) Cue lots of giggling, gasps, freaking squeals and "Should we go in?" ...

Critics.

They bug me.

One day as I sat, content with my new hoop gleaming in the corner, I decided now (or rather, then) would be a respectable time to watch some SuJu videos on YouTube. Why not? The music makes me smile and the dances make me giggle. It was a fine idea, at the time.

I was happy as a clam watching pretty Korean's dancing and singing. But it was not to last. We all know ...

It was so horrible! Ugh, how should I even begin to make you understand?

The dialogue sucked; you can tell the writers for this movie weren't the orginal writers for the other X-Men movies. The acting was sub-par too; one of my best friends thought it was a joke movie.

Spoilers

Deadpool is completely butchered. He gets some good funny lines and scenes for all of five seconds. Then his mouth get sewn shut! The whole point of Deadpool is that he's really funny and breaks third wall.

Yesterday, my 'friend' Dan, Jake, Ryan & I decided to go to Ikworth Park in Horringer. Dan lives there so he said he'd show us the way he usually goes. I know a much shorter way, believe me.

Anyway, we walked for 2 and a half hours without stopping. Dan & Ryan were way ahead, with me & Jake trailing behind as usual. Dan didn't stop and wait for us, apart from one time but that was only because ...

You fail - You are passing-impaired

Lazy - Energetically challenged

She's been grounded - She encountered social speed bumps

Okay. I have just come back from 5 days at my dads, 2 and a half hours North.

For one of those nights (the first night), I had the 'pleasure' of my 4 year old cousin, Robbies' company. Now, he has never been away from his mum before, so I knew it would be trouble.

Little did I know that he would scream constantly once it got to bed time, and we had to pacify him with watching 'Bee Movie'.

HOWEVER.

His mum and dad collected him the next day, and they stayed for a bit of tea. ...

Friday's the day Blizzard Entertainment's Writing Contest results are announced. It's getting rather late in the day. Their front page is still not updated with the results.

I'm growing more annoyed by the minute. In boredom I start browsing their forums. Lo and behold, I find the results posted in a sticky on one of their official off-site forums.

I didn't win.

I stare at the winning entries. I'm not happy.

So, Nina had a rant about rude/completely pointless reviewers, but how can we forget those authors who "accept constructive criticism" and then whine at you when you do? There's just one author in particular who got to me a couple of days ago. I really liked the story and everything, but they made the common mistake that I see everywhere - they misspelled Odaiba. I think they spelled it like "Obadiah" or something crazy like that. So I politely tell them how to spell it (because ...

But it should be done by Joss Whedon! Not other people!

None of the cast or characters from the tv series will be in it.

I can see the movie going so wrong. Mostly because I'm not sure writers who've never worked on a Whedon show (Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse) will be able to write the ...
