Guys, I'm buzzed. In the best sense of the term.

Don't be put off by the big hunk of quote, the story so far is worth it.

Only one chapter so far, but I dare say I'm hooked.

Has promises of Mimato -of which I'm actually not a huge fan- but written in a curiously refreshing style that has me rooting for them already.

Oh, and girls? Yamato is to die for.

Without further ado,

Rescuing the Prince

Kudos to you, Caitlin

I probably spelled "reccommendation" wrong - but hell, who cares...

Anyway, anyone who gives a damn about good writing knows that fluff is hard. Insanely hard. As in, if written badly, the reader will result in fainting spells, vomiting, and dizziness.

As a general rule I don't like fluff, but lookee here! We have well-handled fluff here with a nice cohesive theme and even ships I never took so well too...well, guess what it is?

It's a goliath of a fic called "Following the Footsteps of Destiny" by Broken Angel01. And by goliath, I mean it currently stands at 178 chapters and counting/almost 600,000 words and counting. The way BA01 crafts the character development is absolutely amazing, even if she does have quite a few OCs. I seriously think that ...

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4977601/1/Paper_Orchids

It's a very short and sweet little piece about Sora and her mother; it's plot revolves around Ikebana - the Japanese art of flower arrangement, which Sora's mother is known for. So far I'm the only reviewer, and so I've decided to bring this story some attention and hopefully that will change!

The author also has a few other ...

...Ok, so I wouldn't delete the forum. But seriously, the story SO FAR of the following fic is refreshingly original, the characterization is very interesting and it's wonderfully written. But, it hasn't got many reviews.

So, I think everyone should go R&R because it's the work of one of our more active members...

The best Yakari I have ever read. And I don't just love it because of the pairing, the way in which it has been written is completely mind-blowing. It's probably the best written fanfic I have ever read (and like I said, I'm not being biased on the pairing). We've struck gold here.

It is written from Hikari's perspective. And it's not the usual "I'm shy, I'm cute, I love my brothers best friend-who also happens to be my best friends brother. La-lalala." Hikari is a mute, and through ...

This fic has been around for quite awhile now, seeing how many chapters it has... but I only just stumbled upon it. It's a gem!

It's AU, so there's nothing about digimon - my preferred kind of fanfiction (heh) because I like reading about the human characters more. All of them are pretty in-character and well-developed, and the OCs are realistic as well (no mary-sues, phew!).
