Oh, I see what you mean by the "love conquers all" thing. I just don't think it's love alone. You need other redeeming qualities too.

There are so many people out there ready to throw their entire lives away over love. As in : love>career, love>family, love>friends, love>personnal well-being and health, love>hobbies, love>individuality.
Their lives are no longer composed of the many different things that make them who they are. They define themselves with the relationship. Or, even if all the different parts stay important, the relationship is often considered much more important.

It's when a difficulty of existing outside the relationship starts, that you might want to rethink a few things.

I think the clingyness might have something to do with the fact that divorce is so widely available in Western society now (I don't mean to alienate anyone, but I only know how things work over here... and only vaguely!) Maybe once you finally have someone, you don't want to let go... You want to make it work.

Here's something to think about- what is love.

Love is blind, irrational, horrifying, wonderful, senseless, passionate, unforgettable, unforgivable, live-alerting, painful, disgraceful, bliss, etc.

This list can go on forever!


When I was 12 my english teacher would bring the newspaper to class and we were allowed to cut things out of it. There was this one girl who collected the thing she cut out every week. It was a picture of a man and a woman doing some sort of action. The words, "LOVE IS..." were written on top and whatever the phrase was for that day was written on the bottom.

Then I thought they were cute, now I see them as cute and idiotic. I'm such a downer sometimes.



It came out really big, even when I put in the smallest size. Ugh. I hate technology.

And that's how you pick out the minds who run on strict innuendos.
