For a start, all my friends (par Emma) are male. I can't stand <most> girls in real life, I get bored and/or pissed off.

But to get back onto the topic of emotionnal abuse, I find it seems to be happening more than people realise, and that people are willing to just take it.

Men may be emotionally abusive but you got to think about this...woman with words...that's deadly.

But how do you fight against emotional abuse? Do you just walk away from it...?

I'm assuming. It's not like you can fight back. I'm guessing it will be like both sides fighting with mimi-nukes if that happens.

Supposedly, yes. That would be the most healthy reaction.

But putting theory into practice doesn't seem to go that well here, considering the people who don't.
Often, they'll say/think : "but he/she LOVES me!" Joining the train of thought that love overpowers all and that simply loving someone is enough. It's not.

Depends. There have been stories of people who got conquered with love (yeah, it does sound cheesy). Mostly it's pastors who tell them (or author's collecting hopeful stories). But they're out there, even though they're not terribly common.

Something occurred to me today. In the last month or so, two acquaintances of mine have attempted suicide. Over love. Or at least that's what I'm told. And I was just sitting on my own today, drinking hot chocolate... Both of them were under twenty. Since when did relationships get so intense so young?
