| I posted something about it in Caitlin's topic, but it seems like June is a bad month for celebrities.... let's see, who all has died so far? David Carradine, June 3 Ed McMahon, June 23 Farrah Fawcett, June 25 Michael Jackson, June 25 Billy Mays, June 28 Rest in peace to all, but isn't it a little scary? They're dropping like flies! And then in the wake of MJ, not only is he overshadowing everything else on the news and stuff, but he's also earning a lot of really terrible jokes. For example, my dad's friend sent him a joke that went something like this... "When Farrah Fawcett died and met God at the gates to Heaven, he wanted to grant her a wish for her bravery. She said she wanted to save all the children who suffer in the world. So God killed Michael Jackson." I mean, come on. Is it too much to ask for a little respect for the dead? Even if celebrities do seem like they're cursed... _________________ This picture is made of epic win. SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME EPIC WIN. |

| I got the stupid mass text... "Did you hear Michael Jackson's last wish? He asked to be taken to the Childrens' Hospital." Now, whether he was guilty of the things he was accused of, well idk, but I mean the man is dead. Respect him for his music because regardless of what anyone says... that man was the best entertainer since Elvis. He was probably bigger than Elvis. His funeral will be the biggest one since Princess Diana. This is sad to think but Elizabeth Taylor might be next. Michael Jackson was her best friend and she's already so fragile. I guess June Gloom hit with more than just clouds. _________________ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ This is war Every line is about who I don’t want to write about anymore

| I'm sick of the "one less pedo in the world!" attitude regarding Micheal Jackson's death. I honestly don't give a damn about the guy, yet it still irritates me. There's a group on facebook called something along the lines of "Let's hang pedos by the balls" where some sort of mass hatred has spread. Faith in humanity falling, falling, falling...As for all the celebrities dying, people die every day, these ones happen to be famous. Though I do admit it's quite an interesting coincedence. Imagine, considering June as "celebrity month," July could be "postman month" (or "mailman month,") August might be "Tennis fan month" My apologies to anyone who falls (or is connected to anyone who falls) into those two randomly chosen categories. _________________ I have my own reality, thank you very much. ~ "I was biting down hard on my lip, as I wrote you a poem in orange felt tip."

| If August is "Tennis Fan Month" I'm screwed. o_o Anyways, I got the text, heard a few jokes, and moved on. I'm just ignoring all the deaths. I might be a morbid person, but death isn't something I like thinking about. Especially right now. _________________ love is like a thunderstorm ~ electricity and sparks ~ connecting earth and sky

| I know what you mean, Nina. It's sad that so many celebrities are dying, but while it may seem alot, the truth is that many people are dying everyday. In retrospect, it's just life. The mass texts are just mean though! I remember I met my friends the day we heard about MJ, and one of them (who doesn't care for things like that) simply laughed and said, "Maybe his nose melted and he couldn't breathe!" Don't we just live in a sad, sad world. _________________ I'm not lazy, I'm just energetically-challenged! |

| I haven't heard any of those jokes yet, but I'm thinking its only a matter of time... *sighs* At first, I didn't believe it, though. I got the txt that said he was dead and my response was "*snort* Psh, yeah right!" Now I feel horrible for saying that and dismissing the possibility... | I refused to believe it until Jermaine confirmed it. I had tickets too... As for the jokes, I never got sent any of them, but I did hear a couple from family members and really told them what was what. The man practically re-made the Music & Video industry for crying out loud. _________________ "Ribbed For Her Koushiro." |

| I suppose it's just life, but all of these deaths are really coincidental. Maybe it's just me. I dunno. Michael's music was really the only thing I knew him for. I didn't watch the trials or anything, I really couldn't have cared less. Because there are definitely more violent child molesters/child murderers out there and focusing on just one man is stupid. So let the man rest in peace. As for finding out he was dead, I had a friend over so we weren't watching the news until my sister called and was like, "OMFG TURN ON THE NEWS!!!1!" So... yeah. _________________ This picture is made of epic win. SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME EPIC WIN. |

| My mom remembers watching MJ on TV when she was a teenager. I only know of him what I've seen in the media...It was so strange though, all of the celebrities we've lost recently. My dad says deaths usually come in threes, and within the same week Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and MJ died! The only 'celebrity' I really pay much attention to lately is Ted Kennedy and his family, since I am a fan of that misfortuned, sometimes misguided clan. |

| Eunice Kennedy Shriver died on August 11, 2009. Nearly two weeks later, her younger brother Edward "Teddy" Kennedy finally succumbed to a malignant brain tumor. Now there is only one surviving member of their generation, a sister Jean Kennedy Smith. Wow. Teddy will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C, fifty feet from his brother Robert F. Kennedy. Looks like the end of an era... |

What? That's so unbelievable! Is that really true? 50 feet from Robert Kennedy's? Well I was a bit shocked because ever since I didn't know that it's possible to bury that higher than 6 feet... Now, all I can I say, may they rest in peace.. |
