Ever read/hear/see something that just made you go "WTF?" because it's simply just that strange on so many levels.

Or do something to make you want to say "WTF?" to yourself?

Those moments are crazy, and I personally enjoy them! Thus, we have a new topic for everyone to share theirs


This is mine from earlier:

I was reading up on breast cancer when I came across this:
"Although nipple inversion can be a symptom of breast cancer, it can also be totally benign."

And just like that I had this strange image forming in my mind. These two guys: StarCraft players, with their arms crossed, and doing sort of strange dance... Wait a minute!

I wonder if the word "benign" has been permenantly ruined for me.
I mean, no offense, Darko, but I don't want to be thinking of you while reading about breasts. (Btw I don't blame you for a thing, I actually find it quite funny!)

Same thing happened when I read that phrase.

I agree Xiexie has plenty of WTF-moments! lol. I guess I do too! But I've only been awake for an hour and I'm not functioning correctly.

My reasons for using such an uncommon word have finally been revealed. Now whenever the word benign is mentioned you'll all be thinking of me! Mwahahaha!

Actually... we think Starcraft! Be it dancing-pros, or sadly in my case, hydralisks. It's not technically you... don't feel too special.

Oh here's a WTF moment I can remember... I seen this happen...

I was at the autoshop with my bf picking up his mom's car and I'm waiting for him to sign off on the paper work but it was too hot in the little office so I went outside. I'm standing there just looking around when I see this man across the street. He came out from behind a building and walks in front of one of the closed up shops. Now idk if there was a sprinkler or a water hose or what, but he starts bathing outside of this shop! He's literally all soapy and scrubing away (I'm still wondering where he got the soap). And idk if he was wearing anything to cover his bottom half (thank God for the bush that he was standing behind) but he was shirtless.

This was a freaking busy street. Cars on both sides were stopping to watch him... but he was oblivious, just cleaning himself up!

I was like amazed and sort of disgusted.

I know things are hard right now but if you're gonna bathe outside, do it at night when people can't see you!

Uhm, there's one naked (I think he's homeless) guy I keep seeing on the street from the jeepney when coming home from school two years back. Does that count?

I've seen incidents like that before! But granted, I live extremely near to the mental health institute, so it's kinda become a norm...

One WTF-ish but extremely scary incident I witnessed recently was when I was on the bus waiting at the traffic light. We were on the road right outside the institute. So there was this guy at the stop light, he walked toward the zebra crossing as though to cross it, then sudden turned back to the stop light again as though he had changed his mind. I didn't think much of it at first, thinking that he went the wrong way by accident or something. Then he tried to cross the OTHER road (the one with the stoplight) and then suddenly stopped when he had walked some way. And went back to the zebra crossing and tried to cross it once more. And repeated the process again. And again...

This really freaked me out because the road was a big one, the kind that looks like a cross, and there were cars turning and everything... really WTFish but at the same time it was freaky!

I have two WTF moments, both from our band trip to Cedar Point.

The first one was we were walking to lunch by the ferris wheel, and I look over and there's this guy decked out in the stars and stripes. He had stars and stripes shoes, stars and stripes overalls (but no shirt underneath) and a stars and stripes 'do rag. And he was by himself, just skulking around looking pedo-bear esque. We all freaked out and ran.

The other time was later that day, we were getting off of the Mantis, and my two friends that didn't ride came up to us and were like "OMG WE SAW FLAVA FLAV!!!" They went on to explain that there was this old guy decked out in bling (even the oversized clock around the neck) and he was ranting all gangsta like. They said he looked and acted exactly like Flava Flav. We were like, WTF? XDDD

Just this afternoon, my professor's tongue slipped as he invariably mixed three words into one.

"I want to familiarize all of you with erections." *clears throat as room hollers with laughter* "I meant error correction codes."

There's only one thing we can say to that, Andre...

I had a slightly wtf moment today, but it's a lot tamer than anyone elses.
I was checking one of my many, many e-mail addresses and suddenly, I have facebook. Not in the sense that I got invited and went to go make an account. No. There I was, innocently trawling through the junk and spam... And there it is.
